OUR PHILOSOPHY

How NANAENG Works

Fun and joy come first

Rather than cramming in as much as possible, what matters most is that students truly enjoy the lesson.

Make progress something they can feel

Fun alone isn't enough — students need to feel they're improving. To make that visible, we share NANAENG's own Progress Report with each student.

Take the fear out of English

We help students naturally pick up the feel and nuance of English.

We meet wonderful students

Many of our students hold C-level (executive) positions. They're driven and sharp, so trading ideas in discussion becomes genuinely stimulating for both sides. Large group classes can earn more, but they grow stale quickly and are hard to sustain. Given our area, our 1:1 premium lessons pair you with polite, engaged students — so you'll learn a great deal yourself, and your pay stays steady and consistent.

1
CULTURE

Our Culture

  • We greet one another warmly.
  • We value a modest, grounded way of working.
  • We treat students with kindness, as the courteous adults they are.
  • Students want to learn how to express themselves clearly — always keep this in mind.
  • If anything ever feels unfair, please raise it through our designated channel (Google Form / open chat). Don't keep it to yourself.
  • Punctuality: arrive at least 10 minutes before your lesson begins.

CLASS OPERATION

Running Your Classes

  • For 1:1 lessons you may teach sitting or standing. For small-group lessons, always teach standing.
  • As a rule, every lesson should be fun.
  • Be sure to start 1:1 lessons right on time.
  • Carefully reshape and repeat back the sentences students say.
  • If you notice a student didn't understand something and they try to move on, never let it slide.
  • Online lesson requests may come up; we'll give you separate guidelines during training.

Paid Open Hours

Hours without lessons still count as paid working time. In return, we'd ask you to help with one of the tasks below.

Student Management

  • Summarize that day's lesson in 3–5 quick points and send feedback to the student or parent
  • Record and keep track of each student's progress
※ Even a short word of feedback from you goes a long way in motivating students.

Content Creation

  • Film short English-learning clips for YouTube or social media (topics provided by the school)
  • Feel free to adapt it naturally to your own style — just keep the key points in

Other Teaching Tasks

  • Organizing lesson materials
  • Refining the curriculum
  • Other education-related tasks

Many academies don't pay for hours without lessons. NANAENG respects your working time and pays you normally during open hours — and we'd like to use that time together to deliver even better education for our students.
